When you register and book a place on one of our courses you are consenting to the terms and conditions laid out in this policy.

 

Covid-19 Pandemic

We continue to provide our training services to the same high standards our clients have come to expect during the current Covid-19 pandemic. We have adapted our service delivery with safety at the forefront. For more details please view our Covid-19 response statement.

 

Learning Guarantee

In the unlikely event that you should ever feel that you didn’t learn everything as described in any of our course listings, you are welcome to come and retake the course again for free – any time within the following six months of your original booking date. Just as long as you inform us within 48 hours of taking your course. With Platform your learning is always guaranteed.

 

Securing your place

To secure your place on a course you must pay the full amount before the course start date. For company bookings we offer invoiced 30 days payment terms as standard on all subsequent bookings following an initial booking. Your payment can be made online by credit card or by BACS payable invoice.

 

Payment

We accept payment by cheque, BACS and credit/debit card. Platform reserves the right to change our prices without notice. We may also offer promotional discounts on certain courses or on all courses for a specific period of time. Such price changes or promotional discounts will not affect any course or courses that you have already paid for, or have been invoiced for.

 

Transfers

Bookings for our scheduled classroom courses may be transferred. If you are unable to attend a course you may transfer to any other scheduled date (subject to availability) within 12 months of your original booking. You must notify us in writing no less than 24 hours before the start of your course if you wish to transfer your booking. Private bookings, including one-to-one, on-site and bespoke training, can be rescheduled up to 10 working days before the start date. You must notify us in writing if you wish to reschedule your one-to-one, on-site or bespoke training. In the event of an on-site training date transfer, any additional on-site charges on the original invoice must be paid again in full. This is to cover the rebooking of the trainer’s travel to your location, etc.

 

Cancellations

You must notify us in writing if you wish to cancel your course booking. Your course booking is not to be deemed cancelled until Platform confirms it has received your written cancellation request.

There are no charges applied for cancelling a course provided your written cancellation is received more than 10 working days before the scheduled course start date.

If a written cancellation is received 10 working days or fewer before the scheduled course start date, you will be liable for the full cost of the course.

If you are unable to attend the course yourself, we are happy for a colleague to attend in your place. There is no charge for such delegate substitution but we do ask that you please notify us of the delegate’s details before the course start date.

It is not possible to refund any cancellation made less than 10 working days prior to the course start date.

 

Force Majeure

Should any unforeseeable acts or events which are beyond our control (“Force Majeure Events”) occur Platform reserve the right to cancel a course at any time. Under such circumstances we will reschedule your booking to a time convenient to you or provide you with a full refund. Compensation including any accommodation or travel expenses will not be payable and we accept no liability for loss of profit.

 

Non-attendance of courses

Please be aware that if you do miss any sessions, these cannot be transferred to another course.

 

Course materials

We provide course materials for all of our courses. We kindly request that you do not duplicate or distribute any of the course materials you receive from us as they are subject to copyright. Included course notes cover key subject areas for later reference, they do not provide a complete transcript of the delivered course.
 

Email communications

When you book training with us we will send training related correspondence to the email address that you provide. This includes booking confirmation, course joining instructions, post training support, news and information. We will not share your details with any third party and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. By making a booking you are consenting to receive this information. If you are booking on behalf of someone else you are conveying that you have their consent.
